The Best Cheap Pasta Restaurant in Rome, Italy
While walking through side streets in Rome on a cold January day, we discovered SoloPasta. This hidden gem is a small cafe, serving delicious, fresh, home made pasta on a paper plate with a drink for just 5 Euro.
We weren't expecting much for the price, but the pasta was the best I have ever tasted! They offer several different types of fresh pasta and a variety of different sauces. I opted for Spaghetti with pesto, and Ryan had Spaghetti with a tomato sauce.
We made use of the seating area next to the kitchen, which was perfect for a quick break from touristing. It didn't take long for our food to be brought over, and with a bit of parmesan sprinkled on top it was just what we needed.
This place is not fancy, but if you are looking for a delicious, fresh quick lunch this is the place to go!
