2. High Speed Internet for 100+ Countries

Imagine, even during my travels to Pakistan I was able to stay connected the whole time! Whether I was just sending a WhatsApp message to check-in with Rach or if I was posting a story on Instagram, the result was the same. High speed, reliable internet connection.

In Pakistan I had 500 MB of 4G+ data per day and then unlimited data at reduced speed after that.

During my trip I was able to keep up with our daily uploads on Instagram and I was able to post several stories a day. Some of which were large video files from vertical videos I filmed on my Canon 6D Mark II. It was amazing to be driving through the scenic backdrops of northern Pakistan and being able to not just record and document the trip, but also upload it live during the trip!

With the ability to stay connected during my trip, I was able to connect with a new audience of over 5000 followers from around Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. Something that would’ve be a lot harder with just relying on the sometimes-dodgy WiFi we came across during our trip.

Of course, it’s always good to ‘switch-off’ once and awhile, but nowdays staying connected to the internet essential to the success of our businesses.

3. Share WiFi With Up to 5 Devices

Another amazing thing about My Webspot is that you are able to share the hotpot with 5 different devices. I can’t tell you how convenient this is. I travel with two phones (one for work and one for personal use) and of course my laptop. Being able to have all these devices connected whenever I needed them was amazing. Not to mention My Webspot also had room for 2 other devices to connect to it.

So, when Chantelle and Zee both urgently needed to send messages and couldn’t connect to the inconsistent WiFi we had in Chitral and the non-existent WiFi we had in Kalash, they could both quickly connect to My Webspot and send the messages that they needed to.

Amazing!

4. Up to 8 Hours of Battery Life

The battery life on My Webspot was great too! As the device’s design is so sleek and simple there are no unnecessary displays, lights, and other fancy gimmicks that take away from the important battery life of the device. Never once did the battery die on me and for the odd time when I went 8 hours straight without a power outlet, I was able to use my battery pack to quickly charge the device.

5. No Hidden Costs and No Roaming Charges

There’s nothing I hate more than hidden costs and roaming charges. Luckily, with My Web Spot what you see is what you get.

The most popular My Webspot packages are priced as follows. No more, no less.

6. No Contract

There’s no contract. All you’ve got to do is pay for the dates that you’re travelling for and of course the deposit for the device (which you only pay for if you don’t return the device).

If you have any modifications to make to your order they are free, as long as its 5 days before the beginning of the rental period.

If you must cancel the rental there will of course be associated costs, which are very reasonable and can be viewed here. However, I’m sure you’d only need to cancel in the unlikely event that your trip is cancelled for some unlucky and unforeseeable reason.

Stay connected with reliable and fast connection.

7. The Process is Simple, Fast, and Convenient

Getting your My Webspot pocket WiFi couldn’t be easier! You can rent your pocket WiFi in just 2 minutes.

Step 1: Visit www.my-webspot.com

Step 2: Select your destination from the drop-down menu

Step 3: Select your travel dates

Step 4: Enter your personal information

Step 5: Choose any additional options you’d like to include with your rental (e.g. power bank)

Step 6: Choose your delivery and return options

Step 7: Enter your billing and delivery details, place your order and voila! You’re done.

Some of you might be worried about the return of the device and possibly see it as inconvenience. But really, it couldn’t be simpler and it’s no different than returning an Amazon package. All you need to do is place the device in the protective envelope provided by My Webspot put your stamps on and put it into the mail. To make things even easier there is an option to add the prepaid envelope to your order and save you even more time.

To put it into perspective, the time it would take you to do all the research to find if the country your headed to offers cheap SIM cards, track down a place to buy the local SIM card, and communicate with the shop keeper is much more than the time you’ll spend with the simple return process.

Also, the peace of mind you’ll have knowing that you’re going to have reliable internet connection during your trip is well worth the small inconvenience of walking to the post office or mailbox to return the device.

So, what are you waiting for? Rent your Webspot pocket WiFi here.

Let’s stay connected and shoot us a DM or tag us in your post if you end up using My Webspot. We’d love to see that we could help out and make your trip just a little bit more convenient.
